Gilimanuk – Tanah Lot
We continue the journey towards Tanah Lot to see the sunset view. Due to the tight schedule, we race towards Tanah Lot in order to see the sunset.

Tanah Lot means "Land [sic: in the] Sea" in Balinese language Located in Tabanan, about 20 km from Denpasar, the temple sits on a large offshore rock which has been shaped continuously over the years by the ocean tide.

Along Gilimanuk - Tanah Lot the road surface is relatively flat, smooth and slightly curved.

Tanah Lot is famous as a beautiful place to watch the sunset (sunset), the tourists are usually crowded in the afternoon to see the beauty of the sunset here. We were rushed to the beach to see the sunset. The area leading to Tanah Lot is highly commercialized and people are required to pay to enter the area.

To reach the temple, visitors must walk through a carefully planned set of Balinese market-format souvenir shops which cover each side of the path down to the sea. On the mainland cliff tops, restaurants have also been provided for tourists. On the beach, there are many peoples who have been waiting for the sunset event. Most of them are carrying a camera to capture those exciting moments.
Instead of sunset view, Tanah Lot also have famous and amazing temple that exist across the beach named Tanah Lot temple. This temple is still used for religious ceremonies for Hindus.

Lovina Beach (or often simply Lovina : Love Indonesia) is a coastal area on the northwestern side of the island of Bali, Indonesia.

The coastal strip stretches from 5 km west of the city of Singaraja to 15 km west.

Getting your own car with a driver is a much easier way to get to the North.

Again it is much easier to hire a driver and car for any longer journey. You can travel from Kuta in less than 3 hrs and from the airport or Sanur in about 2.30 hrs.

You will travel through (Pura Ulun Danau) Bedugul and could go the pretty way through Munduk if you are not in a hurry.

So you could stop to take in the temple, lakes and rice paddies on your trip and make a day of it.

The Lovina area contains the small villages (from east to west) of Pemaron, Tukad Mungga, Anturan, Banyualit, Kalibukbuk, Kaliasem and Temukus.
